Hello, Pasadena!
As your City Council Candidate for District H, I’m thrilled to connect with you this week to share my thoughts on what has been an unusual and beautiful occurrence for our city — snow! Yes, snow in Pasadena, Texas, a sight so rare that it feels almost magical.
Over the past few days, our city has transformed into a winter wonderland. The rooftops, trees, and parks have been lightly dusted with snow, creating picturesque scenes that rival postcards. It’s been heartwarming to see families out building snowmen, kids making snow angels, and neighbors coming together to marvel at the weather. These moments remind us of the joy and connection that make our community so special.
But while we enjoy the beauty of this weather, it’s also a good time to stay mindful of safety. The roads can become slick, so please drive carefully and allow extra time for travel. For those in need of a warm place or assistance, let’s remember to check on our elderly neighbors and anyone who might need help. Community is about looking out for one another, and that’s one of the reasons I’m so proud to call Pasadena home.
As we embrace these rare snowy days, I also want to take a moment to talk about the vision I have for our city. Pasadena is a city of opportunity, growth, and resilience. Whether it’s improving our infrastructure to better handle unexpected weather or creating more spaces where families can gather and thrive, I am committed to making District H a place where everyone feels proud to live.
Mark your calendars: May 3, 2025, is Election Day. I humbly ask for your support as I work to bring a fresh perspective and strong leadership to City Council. Together, we can build a brighter future for Pasadena, one that honors our past while boldly stepping into the future.
If you’ve captured any special snowy moments this week, I’d love to see them! Share your photos and tag me at #Styron4Pasadena. Let’s celebrate the beauty of our city and the community spirit that sets us apart.
Stay warm, stay safe, and let’s keep Pasadena thriving. See you around the neighborhood!
