Meet My Family

Meet My Family: The Foundation of My Campaign

As I run for City Council, I want to share with you the people who have shaped who I am and who continue to inspire my vision for our community. Family is at the core of everything I do, and the values that bind us together guide my commitment to serve you and our city. Let me introduce you to the heart of my campaign – my family.

My Parents: Rick and Suzan

I was raised with a strong sense of community and hard work, thanks to my wonderful parents, Rick and Suzan. Both are retired and now call League City home, where they’ve been pillars of support throughout my life. From their example, I’ve learned the importance of giving back, of being involved, and of always striving to make the world around us better. Their wisdom, love, and guidance have played a huge role in shaping the person I am today.

My Brother, Eric

I am also lucky to have a brother, Eric, who lives in Humble. We’ve always shared a close bond, and I deeply appreciate his support as I pursue this important work. Our conversations about life, responsibility, and what it means to care for others continually shape my approach to leadership and service.

My Children: Camden, Carson, and Anniston

Of course, the greatest joy of my life are my three children: Camden (9), Carson (7), and Anniston (4). Camden is in 4th grade, Carson is in 2nd grade, and Anniston is in Pre-K4. They are the motivation behind everything I do, and their curiosity, creativity, and compassion inspire me every single day.

Camden, my oldest, is full of energy and a natural leader. He’s deeply involved in school activities at First Baptist Christian Academy, where both Camden and Carson attend. Carson, my middle child, has an infectious smile and an incredible sense of humor. He keeps my family laughing and brings a sense of joy wherever he goes. Anniston, my youngest, is already showing signs of her own unique spirit, and we’re excited that she will join Camden and Carson at First Baptist Christian Academy next year.

The values that I try to instill in my children—kindness, respect, and the importance of hard work—are the same values I will bring to City Council. As a father, I am deeply committed to ensuring our city provides opportunities for all families, especially children, to thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

Why My Family Matters to This Campaign

My family is the foundation of my commitment to service. I understand the challenges and the hopes of parents, educators, and community members because I live them every day. From working to ensure better educational opportunities for our children, to addressing the needs of families and local businesses, my vision for this city is one that reflects the values we hold dear at home: support, community, and a shared sense of responsibility.

I’m running for City Council because I want to create a future where our families, like mine, can flourish. Whether it’s improving local education, enhancing safety, or creating more opportunities for people to live, work, and thrive in our city, everything I do is motivated by my desire to build a better world for my children—and for yours.

Thank you for taking the time to meet my family. We are all in this together, and with your support, we can make our city a place where families grow stronger and communities thrive.

With appreciation,

Aaron
