Faith, Family, and Community: A Special Chapel Service

Yesterday, I had the incredible privilege of attending chapel at First Baptist Christian Academy, where my son Camden and his fellow 4th graders led the service. With Valentine’s Day approaching, their message focused on the most profound love of all—Jesus Christ’s unconditional love for us.

Watching these young students stand boldly in their faith and share the gospel was truly inspiring. In today’s world, it is more important than ever to ensure our children grow up with strong values, rooted in faith, integrity, and compassion. As a parent, I am beyond grateful that my children attend a school where Christ is at the center of their education, shaping not only their academic journey but also their character and spiritual growth.

The chapel service was a reminder that love, kindness, and service to others should be the foundation of our lives. As we celebrate Valentine’s Day, let’s not just focus on gifts and chocolates but reflect on the perfect love that Christ has for us and how we can extend that love to our families, neighbors, and community.

Faith and family have always been the backbone of my journey, and these moments reaffirm why I am so passionate about serving our community. Whether through education, leadership, or public service, we must work together to ensure that our values remain strong for future generations.
